Hassaan & Associates is dedicated to providing first-rate legal representation for our corporate and individual clients. Our services cover the needs of growing communities, including residential and commercial real estate, corporation documents, family and estate planning, immigration; criminal; and civil litigation.
Our goal is to create a full-service firm for the ever-growing communities of southern Ontario.
We are part of the community. Our team of lawyers and support staff ensures our lawyers are able to specialize and focus on one or two areas while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Our History
Hassaan & Associates, P.C. was established by Fayrouse (Fay) Hassaan in Oakville, Ontario August 2005. Fay opened her practice with the singular goal of providing expert legal advice to the community. As the practice grew, the firm was able to add associate lawyers to keep up with the needs of the community.
In 2007, Hassaan & Associates agreed to open Hassaan Chernecki Law Chambers (HCLC) with Todd Chernecki and moved her practice to Milton, Ontario.
In 2009, HCLC took over the practice of Hedley Grieves, a retiring solicitor who had been in sole practice in the Milton area for over 40 years. Mr. Grieves practiced in the areas of Will, Estates, and Real Estate.
In October 2011, Fay and Todd agreed to wind down HCLC as Todd wished to move his practice to Toronto. Fay chose to stay in the community and serve the growing Milton region.
In September 2011, Fay took over the practice of Ronald Flannagan, a retiring solicitor who had been in sole practice in the Milton area for over 40 years. At this time, Hassaan & Associates was providing services in the areas of Real Estate, Family Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, Wills, and Civil Law.
By 2013 the firm had grown into one of Milton’s most well-regarded full-service law firms providing a full suite of services for individuals and businesses. The firm gained a reputation as a confident, trustworthy, fair, and competent solicitors who successfully assists clients.
In 2022, Hassaan & Associates further expanded by acquiring a practice in Grimsby, Ontario.
