Christine Dang is an Associate with Hassaan and Associates Milton office. Christine has been practicing law in 2014 and has grown her practice to include Family Law, Estate Planning, Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Immigration matters. Her clients refer to her patience, compassion, guidance, and thoroughness on their behalf and genuinely appreciate her services.

Christine’s legal advocacy, commitment to social justice, and advancement of human rights have earned her numerous awards, including the International Commission of Jurists Award (Canada), the Oxfam/Novib International Pen Freedom of Expression Award (The Hague), North America-Vietnamese Professionals Society (United States), and the Young Woman of Distinction Award (City of Toronto).

Prior to practicing law, Christine’s professional background included community healthcare policy development for the Department of Public Health, teaching, and crisis counselling for women and children survivors of abuse and sexual crime for the Assaulted Women Hotline, Victim Services, and emergency shelters.

Throughout her career, Christine has developed outstanding leadership and organizational skills through managerial positions, civil rights movement building and memberships on various community committees and Boards of Directors for multicultural organizations. She has a teaching certificate specializing in adult education and regularly speaks at community agencies and multicultural organizations in Peel and Halton regions. Internationally, Christine has spoken at various forums, including the United Nations High Commissioners for Refugees and Human Rights in Geneva and New York.

Christine is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Vietnamese, and conversational Chinese. Her interests include martial arts, photography, painting, writing and baking.
